The Esquire House May be a Sleek Bachelor pad but it most definitely needs a woman’s touch

Visited the Esquire House in the Hollywood Hills a few Fridays ago for a Glenfiddich Event. Named for Valley of the Deer, the single malt scotch whisky is still run by the founder’s descendants. After tasting several different products, I preferred the 15 year old Glenfiddich, but the 12 year old is one of the company’s most popular. We were able to taste a 40-year-old one, too.

With a view of the sprawling Los Angeles area the house, which is decorated by a bevy of interior designers, is definitely a showcase and has been used by celebrities like Sienna Millers and others to host events. It’s easy to understand why. The terrace features an infinity pool, a 28-foot firewall and a lively fountain and that view. There’s also a recording studio in the upstairs of the 1,500 square foot pool house.  I would spend all my time in the media room thoughwhere one wall is devoted for watching movies and TV, and another for video-gaming for my male guests of course. Designed by Amy Matthews for DIY Network, it also has a sixteen-foot round turntable in the cente rof the room whitch toates to face one side or the other.
